The Running Dude
The 1970s saw the first running boom in the United States. Over the decade the sport began to reach people in far stretches of the country who—motivated to grow as individuals and increase their longevity—laced up their shoes and joined the jogging movement.
The legacy running brands we know today were just getting started. The races we’ve come to cherish in our cities and communities began to fill the streets. It was the time where the raw nature of the sport began to intersect with commercial appeal and popularity.
The Running Dude embodies the roots of why we started running in the first place.
To push oneself. To breathe better. To feel stronger. To think clearer. To do it because you love it. To be free.
